There is a trailer out for the new movie “Zack and Miri Make a Porno.” Part of the movie takes place in a coffee shop and near the end of the trailer, there is a fire-engine red Royal No.5 coffee roaster visible in the background. Although an antique, some are still in use. The beauty is in the simplicity of these machines, which can double as a peanut roaster. While it lacks some of the modern technologies (mainly a reliable thermometer) that ensure more even and predictable results in newer roasters, they sure are purty.
